Increasing euroscepticism, stronger authority of populists, BREXIT, migrants\u2019 crisis and fierce discussions about the reforms of European Union – this is the face that the old continent has now as it\u2019s waiting for the 2019 European Parliament election.<\/p>\n

How the reforms, made by European Union, will change government\u2019s actions and economy? What will European Parliament be capable of in the upcoming tenure? How does the election impact our own country? These and many more questions arise in society whilst another part of country’s citizens lack knowledge of the importance of participating in election and the impact that the results will make to their daily lives.<\/p>\n

Raising these issues, we see the need to increase Lithuanian citizens awareness regarding EP elections through non-partisan knowledge and interaction based activities.<\/p>\n

The project has 4 stages:<\/p>\n

Stage 1. Our Europe
\n(Active communication in media and social media)<\/p>\n

Stage 2. Sustainable dialogue between business community and MEPs.
\n(Includes 5 discussions in regions: Kaunas, Panev\u0117\u017eys, Alytus, Klaip\u0117da, \u0160iauliai)<\/p>\n

Stage 3. Promotion of business community\u2019s participation in EU Parliament elections.
\n(Includes 2 discussion in Vilnius with business community)<\/p>\n

Stage 4. Final discussion about EU Parliament election results.
\n(Discussion session during Baltic Investors Forum 2019)<\/p>\n
