About us

Investors‘ Forum is a voluntary, totally independent and self-managed business association of the largest and most active investors in the Lithuanian economy. Founded in June of 1999, Investors‘ Forum today has over 70 members.

Mission of Investors‘ Forum:

to improve the business environment and investment climate in Lithuania, through cooperation with public institutions and the business community.

Vision of Investors‘ Forum:

the most Investor-friendly business climate in the EU, attracting FDI for the benefit of Lithuania.

Values of Investors‘ Forum:

Goals of Investors’ Forum:

• to become even more attractive and valuable to current and potential members;
• to provide networking opportunities to our members and observers;
• to provide valuable advice and support to Lithuania‘s authorities in making Lithuania more competitive in order to attract FDI;
• to form good public opinion about foreign investments and importance of foreign investments for the country, its economy and community;
• to promote Corporate Social Responsibility Concept in Lithuania;
• to engage our Members in our activities.

Activities of Investors’ Forum:

Investors‘ Forum maintains regular contacts with senior and working level representatives of the Prime Minister‘s Office, governmental ministries, the President‘s Office and the Seimas (Parliament).

Investors‘ Forum actively participates in temporary working groups dealing with the issues of:

• corporate law,
• taxes,
• labour relations,
• business ethics,
• communication.

For nine years already Investors‘Forum has been organising regular Investors‘ forum with Government of the Republic of Lithuania, meetings with the Presidents of the Republic of Lithuania, Chairmen of the Seimas (Parliament), members for the Seimas, Prime Ministers, Ministers of Economy, Finance, Labour and Social affairs, representatives of the Bank of Lithuania, International Monetary Fund and the Mayor of Vilnius, which give the possibility to exchange opinions on relevant issues in informal environment.

Membership of Investors’ Forum:

Investors‘ Forum members should comply with membership criteria and Business Ethics Statement. Investors‘ Forum is financed entirely by the contributions of its members. An annual membership fee is defined at the meeting of Investors‘ Forum members.
