The application process for annual Investors’ Forum Awards has now officially begun. Investors’ Forum Awards recognize and reward organizations and people who have significantly contributed to the improvement of Lithuanian business environment and investment climate.
We kindly invite you to nominate the companies and individuals for their significant achievements in the following categories until the 27th of March:
- Investor of the Year – for contribution to the Lithuanian economy and creation of new jobs in 2024;
- Best Decision for Business Climate Improvement – for an initiative or decision that made a significant positive impact on the business environment and economy of Lithuania in 2024;
- The Most Responsible Company – for application of socially responsible and transparent business practices, active involvement in community activities and nurturing of social values, caring for employees and minimizing negative environmental impact;
- Public Servant of the Year – for personal initiative and purposeful effort to taking decisions that benefit the investment climate in Lithuania in 2024;
- Business Journalist of the Year – for a professional approach towards the challenges of Lithuanian economy and informative presentation of the country’s business environment in 2024;
- Integrity Ambassador of the Year – for a significant contribution and leadership in strengthening integrity and fostering trust in business, public institutions, and society. The award is established by Clear Wave and is granted to an individual or an organization.
- Economic Diplomacy Award – for strengthening economic diplomacy and international trade, promoting Lithuania’s name abroad, and attracting investment to Lithuania. This award is established in cooperation with the Port of Klaipėda to recognize individuals or organizations that, by using diplomatic, political, and economic instruments, strengthen international economic relations, contribute to the implementation of foreign policy objectives, and enhance the state’s economic security.
- Digital Technology Breakthrough of the Year – for a significant technological leap that has transformed a business model, created new products, or implemented solutions generating tangible value for an organization or an entire sector. This award is established together with Telia to recognize those who have turned technology into a key driver of growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
- Investment in the Future of Business of the Year – for visionary investments in high technologies, innovation, and intellectual capital that strengthen the ecosystem of the future economy in Lithuania. This award is presented together with SEB Bank, which selects the winner, aiming to recognize companies that develop innovative solutions and contribute to the country’s competitiveness, security, and sustainable growth.
- Economics and Entrepreneurship Teacher of the Year – for contribution towards the preparation of a proactive, entrepreneurial, creative and critically-minded young generation. We present this award every year together with the organization “Lietuvos Junior Achievement”, which has been successfully implementing progressive economic education, entrepreneurship education, financial literacy and career education programs in general education schools, vocational training institutions and higher education institutions for almost 30 years.
The traditional Awards ceremony will be held on the 24th of April.
