Vytautas Šilinskas has joined the management team of the Investors’ Forum, an association uniting the largest and most active investors in Lithuania’s economy. V. Šilinskas, a lawyer and labor law specialist, and a former Minister of Social Security and Labor, has taken on the role of Head of Policy and Corporate Affairs at the association. This May, he will become the Executive Director of the Investors’ Forum. V. Šilinskas will take over the position from Rūta Skyrienė, who has led the association since 2003.

Representatives of the Investors’ Forum association, which brings together the largest and most active investors in the national economy, visited Vilnius airport to learn about the development of Lithuanian airports (LTOU). During a meeting with LTOU director Simonas Bartkus, further perspectives on Lithuania’s air accessibility were discussed.

Lithuanian businesses facing staff shortages are increasingly choosing to employ foreigners, but complex procedures and the nuances of the legislation pose challenges for even the most responsible employers. This sentiment was echoed by the members of the Investors’ Forum, an association comprising the largest and most dynamic investors in the Lithuanian economy, during a meeting with representatives of the nation’s parliamentary parties. The attending politicians underscored that one of the state’s paramount priorities is to ensure sustained economic growth and to foster a reliable and secure environment for business creation and development.
