13^th April, Vilnius. Investors‘ Forum, association uniting largest and most active investors in the Lithuanian economy, named and awarded companies, public institutions and persons, who in 2017 contributed the most to Lithuania‘s business environment and investment climate improvement. In traditional 7th annual award ceremony title of the Investor of the Year was awarded to Devbridge Group. Three companies –Maxima LT, Telia, and Lietpak were entitled as Companies of the Century. This award was established celebrating the Centenary of the Restoration of the State. Investors‘ Forum also named the year’s decision to improve the business environment, responsible business, business journalist of the year, public servant and economics teacher. This year the association received a record breaking number of 122 applications for the awards.

For the seventh year, Investors’ Forum will reward companies, public institutions, teachers and media representatives who have contributed the most to improving business climate.

With the upcoming celebration of 100 years in mind, we have established a special nomination – Company of the Century award. We invite you to give your voice for the company worth to be nominated as the Company of the Century. Press here and vote.  

The application process to annual Investors’ Forum Awards has now officially begun. Investors’ Forum Awards recognize and reward organizations and people who have significantly contributed to the improvement of Lithuanian business environment and investment climate. This year we have a special nomination to award the Company of the Century.

Today the Memorandum on ‘Opportunities for People with Disabilities to Compete in the Labor Market’ was signed at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. The document was signed by the initiator Justas Džiugelis, Chairman of the Disability Rights Commission of the Seimas, representatives of the Ministry of Social Security and Labor, Ministry of  Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, representatives of the Lithuanian Labor Exchange, business organizations and the representatives of people with disabilities organizations.

Transparent business labelling initiative „Baltoji banga“ together in cooperation  with the Transparency International  carried out an evaluation of the transparency of its members. Results showed that top rank of the most accountable companies are  Telia, Investors’ Forum, Siemens Lietuva, VSA Vilnius and Biuro.
