European Commission Gathers Businesses to Discuss Obstacles Outstanding in EU Services Single Market Uncategorized

Conference on the “Remaining Obstacles to a Fully Functioning Single for Services” took place in Crowne Plaza Hotel Vilnius on the 9th of October, 2014. The conference was organised in order to discuss concrete cases and real business stories of market inefficiencies while trying to start or operate a business in another EU country. The discussions were focused on the effect these negative externalities have on EU Single Market for Services.

Investors’ Forum Meeting with the Chief Advisor to the President: Focus on Qualified Labour Supply and Public Sector Efficiency Uncategorized

The members of „Investors‘ Forum“, association uniting the largest foreign investors into Lithuanian economy met with the chief advisor to the President, head of economic & social politics team Giedre Kaminskaite-Salters on the 10th of October, 2014. Lithuanian competitiveness, necessary changes and amendments for the improvement of Lithuanian business and investment climate were discussed during the meeting. The review of the administrative burden put on businesses due to overregulation and the necessity of providing Lithuanian market with qualified, adequate labour force were among the most distinguished topics covered.

Investors’ Forum has signed good business practice memorandum while introducing Euro in Lithuania Uncategorized

The association of “Investors’ Forum” has signed a Good Business Practice Memorandum While Introducing the Euro in Lithuania in the Governmental palace of Lithuania on August 18th, 2014.

The aim of the memorandum is protect the interests of Lithuanian consumers during the Euro introduction in Lithuania and to ensure fair re-evaluation of product and services prices based on mutual trust betweeen the consumers, Lithuanian businesses and the authorities.
