The members of „Investors‘ Forum“, association uniting the largest foreign investors into Lithuanian economy met with the chief advisor to the President, head of economic & social politics team Giedre Kaminskaite-Salters on the 10th of October, 2014. Lithuanian competitiveness, necessary changes and amendments for the improvement of Lithuanian business and investment climate were discussed during the meeting. The review of the administrative burden put on businesses due to overregulation and the necessity of providing Lithuanian market with qualified, adequate labour force were among the most distinguished topics covered.

The association of “Investors’ Forum” alongside with transparent business initiative “Clear Wave” and  OECD anti-corruption network EBPO ACN gathered lithuanian business representatives to debate and discuss business integrity challenges they face on the 30th of September.

The most effective measures and best practices that businesses and associated structures could implement in order to increase integrity of the organisation and avoid corruption.

The association of “Investors’ Forum” has signed a Good Business Practice Memorandum While Introducing the Euro in Lithuania in the Governmental palace of Lithuania on August 18th, 2014.

The aim of the memorandum is protect the interests of Lithuanian consumers during the Euro introduction in Lithuania and to ensure fair re-evaluation of product and services prices based on mutual trust betweeen the consumers, Lithuanian businesses and the authorities.

Largest foreign investors into Lithuania unifying association „Investors‘ Forum“ has congratulated Lithuanian Government and the Central Bank of Lithuania on the decision by European Union Common affairs council to accept Lithuania into the Eurozone from the beginning of 2015. Investors applause the decision and declare that Euro introduction will not only help Lithuania to assure economic safety and stability but also to improve Lithuanian business and investment climate.

During the Board meeting of Investors Forum, Rolandas Valiūnas, executive partner of LAWIN Lideika, Petrauskas, Valiūnas ir partneriai, was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board. He will be leading the largest association of investors in Lithuania for a third term in a row. The decision to re-elected Mr. Valiūnas was approved by consensus voting of Investors’ Forum Board.
